A customer's complaint changed how I torque head bolts forever

Had a 2016 Cummins come back with a small coolant weep after a head gasket job last fall. Customer said I must have used the wrong torque sequence, which stung because I followed the book. Turns out my torque wrench was out of spec by 15 ft-lbs after I dropped it on the shop floor a month earlier. Now I check the calibration sticker every 90 days and keep a backup wrench in the drawer. Anyone else had a come-back that made you rethink your tools?
