A kid at Goodwill saw my City of Heroes discs and asked why I keep dead games
I was digging through the CD rack in Denver and this teenager pointed at my old City of Heroes box and asked why anyone would keep a game whose servers got shut off back in 2012. Told him the fans kept it running with their own server files, and he just shrugged and walked off. Anyone here ever get a reaction like that from someone younger who never played these games when they were live?

That "why keep dead games" thing hits home because I used to be the guy clearing out old discs to make room. Then I saw a buddy fire up a fan server and it hit me, dead to the makers doesn't mean dead to the people still playing.
