Just figured out I can batch my whole week of work emails in 25 minutes on Sunday night
Spending 45 minutes every morning fighting my inbox was eating my real writing time, so I tried drafting every single reply at once on Sunday with a cup of coffee and now my weekday mornings are totally free for my novel, has anyone else found a weird time slot that actually works better than the normal routine?
My buddy tried that Sunday night email thing and ended up just staring at the pile with a beer instead of doing it. What finally worked for him was the 6am slot before his kids woke up, since nobody can bug you when the house is dead quiet. Free mornings for the novel is a solid win, so run with whatever sticks.
