The 5-minute parking rule my coworker swore by, I called it nonsense until today
My desk neighbor claimed you should always wait 5 minutes after a rain starts before rushing to your car, said the heaviest drops are the first 60 seconds and you just get soaked for nothing. I laughed and sprinted out at 2:30 PM, got drenched in 40 seconds flat, and she strolled out dry at 2:34. Is that just luck or is there actual meteorology to that timing? Anyone else ever mock a tip and then eat their words within the hour?
