Hit 4 failed password attempts before my own complex one finally worked
Spent a solid 20 minutes locked out of my own work VPN because my password manager generated such a random 18-character string that I mistyped it three times and got caught by the lockout timer, so now I'm wondering if anyone else sets their manager to lower the complexity just to avoid that panic?
A 20 minute lockout is annoying but it's not like you lost a whole day of work over it. I've been locked out of stuff for way longer because of less, like one time our email server went down for 6 hours and nobody could do anything. Lowering your password strength just so you don't have to retype it seems like a bad trade off when the whole point is keeping your work stuff safe.
