Started outlining my story prompts before writing them and it cut my drafting time in half
For years I just wrote whatever came to mind when a prompt grabbed me, but last month I started jotting down 3 bullet points first. The drafts come out way cleaner now, and that 15 minutes of planning at my kitchen table in Boise saved me at least an hour per story. Anyone got a different pre-writing trick that works better than bullet points?
