Can we talk about how a random overheard conversation fixed my plot hole
I heard two strangers at a coffee shop in Austin debating how a character would hide a body in a small apartment, and their back and forth about using a crawlspace made me realize my own story had a way simpler solution than the locked room I'd spent 3 drafts on, so has anyone else gotten a breakthrough from eavesdropping on strangers?
