That $45 color grading workshop in Austin completely changed how I edit my wedding photos

The instructor said my skin tones looked like expired lunch meat and told me to stop using auto-white balance, so I switched to a gray card and now my clients actually look human.

My buddy tried that workshop last year and said the "expired lunch meat" comment was actually the BEST thing anyone ever told him. He spent the whole next week learning how to fix skin tones with a color checker instead of guessing. Now his wedding edits take half the time and couples actually tell him they look like themselves.

Wait, but don't you think if you need a workshop just to learn basic color correction, you probably should have paid more attention in art school or YouTube tutorials? Seems like a lot of money to hear someone yell at you about lunch meat.

Wait, the instructor actually said that to you @avery_ross? That's brutal but hilarious.
