Why does nobody talk about the week every client wants a redo at once

Had 5 color clients in 3 days at my chair in Sacramento and 4 of them sat down and asked to go lighter than what we planned at the consult. My 2pm on Thursday, Marisol, showed me a saved pic that was basically 3 shades off from what we agreed on, and I had to talk her down without making her feel rushed. I got through it, but I was mixing bowls on the fly and my back was done by Friday. How do you all handle it when a client flips the plan right when they sit down?
