Switched my color formulary from a notebook to a phone app and lost a client over it
I used to write every color formula in a little spiral notebook, one page per client, and I'd been doing that since I finished school in 2011. Back in March I moved it all to an app on my phone because I kept leaving the notebook in my car, and I thought I was being smart. Problem is, a client who sits every 6 weeks asked for the exact same red as her birthday, and I couldn't find the old page fast enough, so I mixed it wrong and she hated it. She went to a stylist two doors down and I don't blame her. Do you all keep paper backup for formulas, or am I just too old for this phone thing?
