A client's daughter asked me why I charge so much for a simple trim and I'm still thinking about it
Last Thursday I had a 14 year old girl in my chair at the salon in Sacramento and she watched me do her mom's cut, then asked why a trim costs $65 when her dad's barber does it for $25. I explained the difference between a barber cut on clippers and sectioning, point cutting, and checking the hairline, and she just nodded and said "so you're paying for the time and the eyes." Has anyone else had a client's kid sum up the pricing talk better than we ever could, and do you have a simple way you explain it to people who push back?
