That random 250,000 mile moment behind a gas station in Boise

Honestly, I was just filling up my old truck at a Pilot off I-84 and the odometer rolled over to exactly 250,000. I sat there staring at it for a solid five minutes, not because I planned it or anything, but because I bought this thing with 88k on it back in 2012 for a road trip to Vegas. It made me think about all the weirdly specific stops I've made since then, like that dead-end dirt road near Winnemucca where I ate a cold burrito at 2am. It wasn't a big deal to anyone else, but that number felt like a receipt for my whole adult life so far. Has anyone else just hit a mileage or age milestone that made them weirdly emotional for no real reason?

Man, that hit harder than I expected. Used to think milestones like that were just boring numbers people bragged about at the bar. But then my car hit 200k in the middle of nowhere, Nebraska, and I just sat there with the engine running, thinking about every drive to see my mom before she passed. That odometer is basically a diary you never agreed to keep, and 250k means you've been through some real stuff without even noticing.
