I picked the JV soccer team over the school play in 8th grade and I still wonder about it

My 8th grade year in Abilene I had to choose between trying out for JV soccer and auditioning for the spring play, and I went with soccer because my dad played. I sat the bench for 11 games and watched the guy who got my theater role win a regional award. Did anyone else make a choice at 13 that still pops into your head?
