My coworker said "you're not lazy, you're burnt out" and I still can't shake it
I was venting to my coworker Jen after missing my third deadline this month and she just looked at me and said that. She pointed out I used to finish projects early and now I stare at my screen for 45 minutes before typing a single email. Has anyone else had someone nail your problem with one sentence like that?
45 minutes staring at your screen before you type one email?" That's wild, I've been there though. Just zoning out like your brain is empty but somehow also full of static. Jen nailed it because she's probably seen you when you were crushing it, so she knows the difference. I really think most people just label you lazy and move on.
