My brother told me I was 'hiding' not 'organizing' and it stung

I was bragging to my younger brother last week about how I finally organized the garage. He looked around at all my labeled bins and said 'You just put the stuff you don't want to deal with into boxes, you didn't actually sort anything.' He was right. I had 12 bins full of random junk I never touched and I called it a system. Has anyone else had a family member call them out on something that felt like a compliment until they said it differently?

Haha oh man that's brutal but honestly kind of a wake up call. I used to think I was super organized too until my wife pointed out all my "systems" were just piles of stuff I didn't want to look at.

Honestly man, that's real. A lot of people just stack their mess and call it a "system" until someone calls em out on it.
