The 200-subscriber channel that made me question the whole 'quantity over quality' push

I used to follow the advice that you gotta post daily or you're dead in the water. Then I found this tiny channel in December that only uploads once every two weeks, but every video feels like a mini documentary. They hit 200 subs with maybe 30 total uploads, and their comment section is full of people actually talking about the content, not just 'first'. Meanwhile my daily posts get 40 views and three likes. That creator told me they spend 20 hours per video, and it made me wonder if we're all just feeding an algorithm that doesn't care about the people watching. Has anyone else tried slowing down and seen better engagement, or is this just a fluke for niche topics?

Man, I felt this in my bones. It's wild how making fewer videos can actually feel more real and connected than cranking stuff out every day.
