That $80 lighting kit I bought is now collecting dust and I'm salty about it

So I dropped 80 bucks on one of those mini LED panels after seeing every other creator rave about them in their setup tours. Figured it would fix my dull streams and make my face pop like theirs. Got it last Tuesday, set it up in my office corner in Austin, and honestly my webcam footage looks basically the same. The color feels off too, kind of greenish no matter what I do with the white balance. Turns out those glowing product shots on YouTube are usually from people who already have good natural light and a proper camera. Wish I had just spent that money on a second softbox or even a cheap ring light with a diffuser. Has anyone else grabbed a budget light and had to fight with it nonstop, or did I just get a dud model?
