A viewer's comment about my audio levels made me rethink my whole setup

Last Tuesday someone on my gaming channel said my voice was too quiet during fights but the music was blasting, so I checked and they were right. I spent 4 hours learning about compression and sidechain EQ, and now my streams sound way more consistent. Has anyone else had a single comment completely change how they edit their content?
