Rant: dropped $250 on a 'truth detector' app that was just a coin flip with extra steps
Got pulled in by a YouTube channel claiming this app could spot deepfake videos using 'micro-expression analysis.' Tried it on 30 clips, it called real news footage fake and a clearly edited meme real. Anyone else get burned by a so-called truth tech tool, or did I just fund some guy's beach trip?
