My take on dust filters for home PCs

Everyone swears by them, but I've seen more issues from clogged filters than from dust. A simple monthly clean works better, doesn't it?

My old rig ran five years with filtered intakes.

My cousin's PC fan seized up from a dusty filter. I skip filters and just use compressed air every few months.

I was all about filters too, but now I just clean my PC often. Seems easier without them getting in the way.
