Found out my old dive school in Louisiana counted surface swims as bottom time
Was digging through my log book from 2011 and realized a bunch of my early dives have inflated numbers because the school counted the swim out as descent. Anyone else run into this or did I just get a lazy instructor?

Same energy as "15 minutes of fame" being 15 real minutes.

Wait, people actually mean 15 real minutes? Here I thought it was just a saying about short-lived fame, not a literal countdown. That changes the whole thing.
