Dollar bin hunting at a small con vs. online auctions, my $37 experiment

Picked a local show in Akron over an eBay lot last month. Spent $37 on a stack of 90s X-Men and random Image books. In hand, the paper smell and cover wear made it feel real. The online lot had better keys but I figured shipping fees and gamble. Got a signed copy of Uncanny 281 by accident, seller didn't even notice. Anyone else find that flipping through bins beats clicking around, or is it just the thrill of the hunt?
