Wrote 200 lines of Python with no functions for 3 weeks straight, then watched a 20 minute video that cracked it

I kept copy pasting the same block over and over in my little weather scraper and could not figure out why fixing one bug broke three other spots. A video by a guy named Corey Schafer showed me I could just put that block in a def and call it, and I sat there feeling dumb for a good ten minutes. What was the small thing you saw somewhere that made you go oh, thats what everyone meant?
