Blew $180 on a coding bootcamp prep course and a free YouTube playlist did more for me
Everyone kept saying you need a paid course to learn to code properly, so I dropped $180 on a beginner prep course back in March. The videos were just some guy reading slides for 12 hours, and I quit after week two. Then I found a free CS50 playlist and actually built a little to-do app in a weekend. What free stuff actually worked for you when you were starting out?
