Had a tool holder explode on me last Tuesday, lucky nobody got hit

Man that whole "standing where it landed" thing hits different when you've had close calls yourself. Ray's got a point though, sometimes you just freeze up and fate does its thing. Had a buddy who was changing a tire on the highway, dropped his socket wrench and it rolled right under his truck. Instead of waiting for traffic to clear he just stood there staring at it for a solid 30 seconds. A semi flew past and that wrench shot out like a rocket, barely missed his ankle. Lucky as hell but also dumb luck if you ask me. Sometimes your brain just picks the worst possible moment to go on autopilot.
