Put my 65 Mustang on jack stands for winter and the tires still got flat spots
Everyone on here swears by jack stands, so last November I put my 65 Mustang up on four stands in my garage in Boise and figured the tires were safe till spring. Come March, two of them had flat spots anyway, worse than the year I just left it on the concrete. Turns out the stands sat on a floor that shifts with the frost, and the tires hung at an angle the whole time. So what is it, concrete pads, tire cradles, or am I missing something about how you're supposed to set the stands?
