I finally gave up on those cheap blue tarps after $85 and two ruined quarters
Bought a 20x30 tarp from the hardware store to cover my 68 Chevelle for winter and the wind shredded it in six weeks, leaving scratches on the roof I had to buff out. Wound up dropping $220 on a real fitted cover and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. What covers are you all running for outdoor parking?

That "wind shredded it in six weeks" line hits home, I had the same thing happen with one of those bargain tarps on my truck and it left scuff marks all down the hood. The straps flapped so hard they rubbed the paint raw in two spots, and I spent a whole afternoon with rubbing compound trying to fix it. Cheap tarps end up costing way more than the good cover ever would.
