How my crypto crash changed my mind about easy money

I used to believe cryptocurrency was a quick path to wealth. I invested most of my savings in dogecoin a few months ago. When the market dropped, I lost almost all of it. Now I see it as pure gambling and stick to safer options.

Have to admit I've done weeks of research before making a choice and still been totally wrong. Felt like a genius right up until the moment it all went bad. That's the funny part, the research just makes you more confident in your guess. At the end of the day you're still just hoping you got it right. My best guesses with research have failed harder than my random picks. Maybe that just makes me a very well-informed gambler.

Honestly I felt the same until I started talking to real users instead of just reading stuff. Made my last choice way better.

What kind of research were you doing though? Reading articles and reports is different from testing a real product or talking to people who have used it. Your best guess from reading alone is still a guess, but hands-on checking gives you actual facts to work with.
