Was laying 80 yards in an office in Denver and found a 8 inch hump under the pad at 2pm
I was on the third floor of a building in Denver doing 80 yards of glue down and hit a hump right in the middle of a hallway. I pulled the pad back and found a chunk of old concrete that never got ground down before the last install. I got my grinder out, knocked it flat, and laid some patch so it wouldn't telegraph through. Ended up adding almost two hours to my day but the floor came out dead flat. Any of you keep a grinder on the truck just for stuff like this?
Oh man, a hump that small probably wouldn't telegraph through glue down anyway once the pad and carpet sit on top of it. I save the grinder for the big stuff and just skim coat those little bumps flat.
