The $85 knee kicker I got at a pawn shop in Dayton outworked the $260 one I bought new
Bought a used knee kicker for $85 at a pawn shop in Dayton two years back, mostly because my new $260 one kept slipping on stretched berber. The pawn shop one had a worn wooden head and I almost passed on it, but the guy let me try it on a scrap piece in the parking lot. It grabbed the backing every single time and I've used it on maybe 40 jobs since then. The fancy one sits in my van as a backup now. Anybody else got an old tool that just flat out beats the new stuff?
