My knee kicker broke mid-room in a rental house in Tulsa
Was doing a 12x15 bedroom yesterday and the trigger on my old Roberts kicker just snapped clean off. Had to finish the whole stretch job using just my power stretcher and a stair tool to tuck the edges. Has anyone else had a knee kicker fail at the worst possible time?

My old Roberts snapped too right as I hit the LAST row. Felt like a REAL professional.

Heard a podcast where a gear tester said the Roberts line had weird quality control in the last few years (like, some batches were fine and others weren't). Might explain why they snap right at the worst possible moment, since that's when the stress is the highest. Gotta wonder if the newer ones have the same problem or if they fixed it.
