Took me 3 hours to hang one interior door because the jamb was out of plumb by a quarter inch
Kept shimming and trimming until I finally checked the rough opening with a level and found the stud bowed out near the top plate. Has anyone else run into a bowed stud on a door rough in, and do you sister a new stud or just plane the drywall side?
