Warning: that $180 resume writing service hurt me way more than it helped
I paid a service $180 to redo my resume when I was trying to get out of retail, and they turned my 6 years of floor experience into three vague pages of buzzwords that made no sense to any hiring manager. A recruiter in Denver called me back 2 weeks later and straight up laughed at the "dynamic synergy" line on page one, then spent 15 minutes telling me to just write down what I did in plain words. Did a paid resume service ever backfire on you, or am I the only one who got burned?

Man that sucks, getting laughed at for $180 worth of nonsense is brutal.
