Three years of tracking canceled creators, hit 500 callouts today
Been keeping a spreadsheet since 2022 of every brand or influencer I see get canceled, what they did, and if they came back. Today I logged my 500th entry, which was a small YouTuber who faked a charity drive. I started this just to keep my own head straight after the whole drama cycle got overwhelming. Turns out 340 of those 500 came back within 18 months, mostly with a soft apology video. That number surprised me because I assumed once you're canceled, you're done. Anyone else track patterns like this, or do you just move on after the mob loses interest?

Keep that spreadsheet going, it's gold for spotting who actually changes versus who just waits it out. Best move is to note their comeback content too, because that tells you way more than the apology ever will.
