Vent: moved my TFSA from a big bank to a robo advisor and the fee gap is embarrassing
I finally sat down and compared what my bank was charging me on $14,000 in my TFSA in Mississauga versus what a robo advisor would take, and the difference was around $140 a year. The bank guy kept saying 'it's only 2%, it's small,' but that's my money going nowhere for basically the same index funds. Has anyone else made the switch and regretted it, or is the robo thing really that simple once you set it up?
