Can we talk about the $60 I handed to a guy in a Mississauga parking lot for a "cash flow" course
Back in 2016 I paid $60 cash for a seminar in a hotel near the airport that turned out to be nothing but a pitch for a $2,000 program, and the free "workbook" was 12 photocopied pages. A guy named Dean kept saying the words "passive income" like it was a magic spell. Did anyone else sit through one of those, or was I the only sucker in the room?
Paid $60 for a timeshare pitch with extra steps and you're calling it a mystery? Dean said "passive income" like a magic spell because that's the whole trick, he wasn't selling a course, he was selling a feeling. The 12 photocopied pages were probably the most honest thing in the room, at least they didn't pretend to be worth $2,000. Sounds like you got off cheap compared to the people who actually handed over the big check after the pitch.
