PSA: our shop's uploads went from 6 hours to 22 minutes after one fiber switch
We run a small concrete outfit outside Tacoma and our old cable business line would crawl when I tried to send job photos and invoices to the office. A 2 GB folder of pour pics took almost 6 hours some nights, which meant I was babysitting a laptop at 10pm instead of eating dinner. Two weeks ago we switched to a fiber plan with 500 Mbps upload and the same folder now goes out in about 22 minutes, no exaggeration, I timed it. The only thing that changed was the line, same router, same computers. Anyone else made the jump and seen a gap that big, or did we just have a garbage setup before?
