Update: Been drawing my monthly log with a ruler for 8 months and just found out you're not supposed to
Honestly I feel so dumb right now. I was watching a flip through video from some girl in Toronto and she just free handed her whole monthly spread in like 10 minutes, no pencil, no ruler, nothing. I have been measuring every single line with a 6 inch ruler and erasing pencil marks for 8 months because I thought that's how you make it look neat. Tbh her lines were a little wobbly and it still looked better than mine because she actually finished the page instead of spending 45 minutes on boxes. Does anyone else here free hand their layouts or am I the only one who's been treating this like a drafting class?
