Found my old collections from March and saw the mess I was making

I started bullet journaling in March and kept a daily log plus a monthly log, but I never made a future log. Last week I flipped back to February and realized I had three missed bill reminders and a dentist appointment I forgot twice. The tip-off was writing 'see January 14' on a page that had nothing about it. Now I split my monthly spread into three columns for next month, two months out, and six months out. Anyone else skip the future log because it seemed extra at first?

Same thing happened to me. Now I flip my diary open every Sunday just to check.
