The $30 meal plan spreadsheet I copied from a coworker saved me $210 last month
I noticed a guy at work eating the same chicken and rice bowls every day, so I asked how he did it. He sent me a Google Sheets setup with a rotating 14 day menu and a grocery list that auto-sums by store. I tweaked it for my family of three in Austin and stuck to it for one month. My food spending dropped from $640 to $430, and that includes a few takeout nights when I just didn't feel like cooking. The win wasn't the fancy template, it was seeing where my money actually went before I shopped. Has anyone else tried a shared meal plan doc, or do you just wing it week to week?

$640 to $430 in one month? That spreadsheet sounds like magic.
