Shoutout to the cashier at Aldi who said she feeds her family of 4 on $60 a week
I was behind her in line at the Aldi on 5th and she was chatting with the woman ahead of me about how she does it. She said she plans 6 dinners, buys the produce that's marked down that morning, and never walks in without a list on her phone. I started doing the same thing 3 weeks ago and my grocery bill went from $190 a week to $115 for me and my two kids. The big one for me was skipping the pre cut fruit and veggies, that alone was like $30 a week. Also she said buy the whole chicken and roast it Sunday, then use the rest for tacos Tuesday. Has anyone else tried the roast chicken two meal thing, and did you actually stick with it or did it get old fast?
