Did he also tell you the one about circling the lot for 45 minutes to save five bucks? I tried a "hack" once too, parked at a strip mall near the airport and told myself I was so smart. Came back to a boot on my wheel and a note that said come get me for $150. My brother still brings it up at every family dinner. Turns out the free shuttle and the long term lot exist for a reason, who knew. Next time just pay the lot and call it a vacation tax.
