Unpopular opinion: I stopped meal prepping on Sundays and started cooking double batches at dinner instead
For 2 years I spent every Sunday afternoon cooking 5 containers of chicken and rice, and by Wednesday I hated every bite of it. Six weeks ago I just started making twice as much of whatever I was already cooking for dinner, so Tuesday's chili becomes Thursday's lunch, and I've wasted way less food. Anyone else ditch the whole Sunday prep thing, or am I the only one who thinks it's a trap?
Wait, 2 years of that? Man I would've lost my mind by week 3 eating the same chicken and rice every day. Cooking double batches makes so much more sense, you're just eating real food instead of sad containers.
