The guy at the plant swap in Asheville told me my pothos was too close to the window, and he was right
I always thought more sun equals happier houseplants, so I parked my golden pothos about 6 inches from a south facing window for 8 months. Leaves kept coming in smaller and one vine got this washed out yellow look that I blamed on watering. At the spring swap downtown a guy with a folding table of cuttings pointed at the pale leaf and asked how far it sat from the glass. I moved it back 4 feet and inside of 3 weeks the new leaves came in bigger and way greener. Now I am second guessing my whole light setup, so how do you all figure out the actual distance without buying a meter?
