Serious question, I stopped using tap water on my calathea and it pushed out 3 new leaves in 5 weeks

Switched to distilled water on mine about two months ago and it finally stopped getting those crispy brown edges. The tap water here is pretty hard so I think the minerals were building up in the soil and messing with it. Three new leaves in five weeks is a great sign, so I'd just keep doing what you're doing.
