Vent: 30 books in and I finally counted how many endpapers I've wasted
I keep a scrap bin and just weighed it out of curiosity: 2.4 pounds of torn endpaper from the past 30 books, stuff I cut wrong or glued crooked. That's roughly $18 of paper a month going straight in the trash because I refuse to measure twice, and I'm done pretending it's normal. How many of you actually pre-cut in batches versus just eyeballing it at the bench?
