Can we talk about how the shipyard museum in Sturgeon Bay welds their display rivets?
Stopped by on a road trip last month and saw they used tack welds instead of real rivets on a boiler display from 1943, and it made me wonder how much of the trade we show off is faked for tourists. Am I being too picky, or should a museum that honors the trade actually do it the real way?
