PSA: I started a 9pm "one more episode" rule after falling asleep at my sister's wedding in Boise
I stayed up until 3am finishing a 6 episode British crime show and then dozed off during her toast at the reception. Now I set an alarm for 9pm and hard stop whatever I'm watching, even mid scene, so what's your cutoff trick that actually works?
Try watching shows you actually have to pay attention to instead of junk you can half sleep through, because the real problem is stuff that's easy to binge. Pick something with subtitles or a plot you'd get lost in and you'll naturally stop when your brain gets tired.
