Netflix pulled a show I was 6 episodes into and I lost my mind

Last Tuesday I sat down with my dinner to finish season 1 of this mystery show I'd been hooked on for a week. I was 6 episodes deep, maybe 40 minutes left, and the app just said "this title is no longer available." No warning, no email, nothing. I tried on my phone, my laptop, even my roommate's account, same thing. Turns out the rights deal ended that day and nobody bothered to tell viewers. I ended up googling for 2 hours and found out it moved to a service I don't even have. Has anyone else had a show yanked mid binge like that?
