Found out I'd been fast-forwarding through every intro for 3 years and missed a whole plot setup
Last week I was rewatching the first season of a show I'd binged back in 2022 and noticed a scene in the opening credits that I had zero memory of. Turns out I had been hitting skip intro so fast that I missed a short pre-credits bit that set up a whole side character's backstory. I went back and checked 4 other shows on my watchlist and found 2 more that hide actual scenes in the intro. Now I sit through them for any show that has a cold open. Does anyone else have a show where skipping the intro cost them a key detail?
